Cooka is Switzerland’s first platform where private cooks and food enthusiasts can offer and sell their dishes easily, safely, and locally.
Who can offer meals on Cooka?
Any adult residing in Switzerland who agrees to our terms and hygiene requirements.
How do I register as a provider?
Click on “Register” and follow the instructions. Afterwards, you can set up your profile, upload recipes, and start selling.
Safety and Payments
How secure are payments on Cooka?
All transactions take place directly between the customer and the provider. Cooka only provides the platform.
When do I receive my money as a provider?
Customers pay you directly in cash upon pickup. Or, if you offer your own delivery service (not Cooka), they pay upon delivery.
Do I have to pay taxes?
Yes, you are responsible for declaring your income in your tax return. Cooka is not liable for your tax obligations.
Orders and Delivery
How do I find meals near me?
Use our radius search to find offers within your desired distance or canton.
How does delivery work?
Depending on the provider, you can arrange for takeaway or discuss individual delivery options.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Contact the provider first. If no resolution is found, you can report the issue to our support team.
Ratings and Community
Can I rate other providers?
Yes, after an order you can leave a rating and feedback for the provider.
How does Cooka protect against unreliable providers?
We review every provider before activation. You can also use our “Report” feature to flag violations.
Technical Questions
Does Cooka work on mobile devices?
Yes, Cooka is fully optimized for mobile and works on all major smartphones and tablets.
Which languages does Cooka support?
German, French, Italian, and English. You can switch languages anytime via the menu.
